ASIAN HEALING RITUALS |
| |
Tibetan Singing Bowls are actually a type of bell, specifically classified as standing bells. Rather than hanging or having an attached handle, standing bells rest on their bottom surface. The sides and rims of singing bowls are made to vibrate using a padded mallet, which produces sounds of varying pitch, dependent upon the size, thickness and metallurgy of each bowl. Singing bowls were traditionally used throughout Asia as part of Tantric Buddhism. Today they are employed worldwide, both within and without spiritual context, for meditation, relaxation, improved health and to enhance a sense of personal well-being.

Chakra Alignment – Balance & Harmony for Mind & Body |
$150/45 min |
| |
Sublime, harmonious tones form palpable matrices that float in the air, each note precisely tuned to a unique chakra, which is affected by the placement of each bowl at its corresponding chakra point on the body. The 7 notes of the Western scale produced by the singing bowls correspond to one of the 7 chakras in the body. Gently layering the notes as they resonate calmly from the bowls balances the chakras and restores harmony to the mind and body.
